Relax and let go. A space that feels centered achieves harmony through both function and focus. Here, guests melt into an immediate sense of comfort and relaxation without distractions that interrupt the balance. Functionality flows outward to help create serene scenes and soothing spaces. Likewise, emphasis on focus in these spaces promotes mindfulness, building on the idea of being fully present; it strikes a chord of overall wellbeing and draws guests in with a spirit of openness.
Thoughtful design details execute a centered feeling. Alignment of the sense matters: making even one unsuitable design choice can detract from serenity. Balanced lighting and acoustics soothe the senses and a primary focus on functionality eliminates distracting tension. Layering the elements builds the desired customer experience.

Dutch Nail store
For this nail and beauty salon in the Netherlands, we leaned into design tenets that reflect the Dutch lifestyle. Guests’ senses are in alignment as they soak in the serenity of a space that encourages them to slow down, go with the flow, relax and remain centered.
A balance of form and function makes the space as light, bright and airy as it is comforting. Acoustically, a thoughtful approach adds just the right of amount of sound dampening for the tall space, allowing comfortable conversations that avoid disruptions.
Satisfying symmetry is enhanced by a refined and simple palette.
Visually, the neutral, natural color palette and materials give the space a healthy glow. Copper metal touches have been added because copper functions as a natural conductor and is used to rebalance energy. An uncluttered array of custom nail polish is displayed in an aesthetically pleasing way that harmonizes with the rest of the interior.

Down to earth branding encourages patients to feel centered from the inside out. Dr. Joel Beck, M.D. opened Beck Aesthetic Surgery to help patients be their best selves. We created a brand image that encourages centered feelings from the first interaction and continues throughout the patient experience.
We advocated for authenticity through photography; images depict natural skin and lighting, true skin tones and more laid-back poses to match the spirit of the brand. The photography reinforces the friendly approach of a brand rooted in high-level medical practices. Our branding efforts here reflect the Beck Aesthetic Surgery approach, effectively integrating it through typography, color, logo and photography.
Feeling centered is the artful convergence of mindfulness, serenity and contentment.
